we have so many wonderful people in our lives.  first, we have our parents, who made us from scratch and who have given us everything we have to be thankful for.  giti's parents banu and preeti just celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary this year.  they have a love that they cherish and that we look up to each day.  seth's parents susan and steven were married for 27 years when susan passed away in 2004.  giti and susan were lucky enough to spend time together before her passing.  we admire their love and acknowledge how precious true love can be.  steve has a new love in his life, mary, who has treated us both as her own children.  we love mary and are so happy she is in our lives.

between us both we have three amazing big sisters.  seth has shai and giti has mamta and chanchal.  each of them has supported us through our relationship, given advice when we've needed it, and love during difficult times.  we owe them each so much.  in may, we both got a new big sister in penny when penny married chanchal.  we couldn't be happier.

our wedding officiant is a dear friend and mentor, penny cooper.  she and her wife rena are two people we admire and whose love for one another we will try to emulate as our lives go on.  penny has been a mentor and friend to seth since they first met in 2008.  in choosing an officiant we wanted someone special, who we admire as a member of the community and who lives life with passion and zest.  penny is all of those things and more.
